Coolnagrower was established in the early 1990s when founder, Philip Draper, set out to build a different kind of farm. While organic food was far from mainstream at the time, Philip recognised its potential – for healthier soils, vibrant crops and a more sustainable approach to feeding Irish families.

Carrots remain our signature crop, renowned for their natural sweetness and full flavour. Alongside them, we nurture a diverse range of seasonal organic vegetables including parsnips, potatoes and beetroot – each carefully cultivated to the highest standards of organic production.
A Family Farm, Rooted in Community
Coolnagrower remains a family-run business, supported by a dedicated local team who share our passion for quality and sustainability. We continue to welcome visitors, students and growers to the farm for open days and learning opportunities, helping to encourage future generations to understand how good food is grown.
